Keeping in theme with Ontario Parks along Lake Superior, another one I’ve been to is Rainbow Falls Provincial Park. I stayed at the Rossport Campground and had an incredible campsite right along the shore.
I tried to tell my husband just how stunning and breathtaking the drive from Thunder Bay to Sault Ste. Marie is, but it was too foggy. I didn’t want to drive any further for fear that we’d miss Ontario’s most incredible scenery. Luckily the next morning, the sun burned off some of the fog and we were able to see an island.
It’s a cute little park. I think there is more to it down the road and on the north side, but Rossport was just a small campground and probably used more than anything as a place to crash while driving northwest to Thunder Bay and beyond.
