It has been snowing for the past few days and I knew the coniferous boughs would be weighed down by the fluffy white stuff. A perfect opportunity for Banjo and I to hit the trails! And, to fill up on some much needed Vitamin N.

My husband and I often take Banjo to the Bracebridge Resource Management Centre (BRMC) for a good rip. She loves it there. But, how perfect is it that there’s a trail specifically for snowshoeing and dogs?

The BRMC is just off Highway 11 north of Bracebridge after the turn off for Baysville. There is a snowshoe/dog trail and miles of nordic ski trails. So, if you’re on your way north, be sure to stop in to explore! The BRMC does a great job of grooming the trails.

The trail we did was a 1.4km route that was on a groomed trail and then it breaks off into a snowshoe path.

What a great day to get out! Banjo had a blast too! She’s so much fun!

There’s something about the smell of fresh snow and just getting outside in the winter. It makes my heart so happy!

Although it was a short adventure, it was nice to get out with my camera and Banjo. It’s amazing how an hour or so in the forest can recharge my mind and soul, it’s that Vitamin N.
Thanks for reading! I hope you get a chance to check out the BRMC on your way through Muskoka. It’s awesome during any season!
Love seeing this! As usual, your photos are spot on and then some and more!! Banjo is sooo pretty! This colours of you and Banjo with nature is truly Beautiful! just sayin!

You both really love it outside and enjoying this wonderful winter wonderland. I think your upbringing may have had a lot to do with loving the great outdoors, as that is where you spent a lot of your youth. Banjo is an excellent companion for you while you’re out there as well. We know she just plain loves being out and active…….as a dog should. Nice pics…..
