One of the best things about living in Muskoka is the access to wilderness places. It’s pretty awesome to be in the backcountry within 30 minutes from our nest. There is a place that we have been going to since we moved to the area just over a year ago, and on Friday we decided to take off after work for an overnight canoe trip.

The stars aligned for me, literally, on Friday night. With a huge expanse of sky, I was able to make some pretty great shots from our campsite. Magic happened. I was so inspired by the beautiful moonlight, that I stayed up for hours photographing the sky and my surroundings. Wild Muskoka.

And, here’s a little video I threw together of our overnight trip. Hope you enjoy it!
